The Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, released an official recruitment notification on 28 October 2025. The announcement has been published under Advertisement No. NFC/R-III/1/10/2025 on NFC’s official website www.nfc.gov.in.

This recruitment is for the Engagement of ITI Trade Apprentices across various technical trades. A total of 405 apprentice posts are available under this program. The trades include Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Machinist, Chemical Plant Operator, Instrument Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant, Motor Mechanic, Draughtsman, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Plumber, Welder, and Stenographer. Selected candidates will get one year of practical training under the Apprentices Act.

Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for this apprenticeship must have passed Class 10 (SSC) and ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institute. The qualification must be complete before the closing date of application. Candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, in any organization, are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit
The age of the candidate must be at least 18 years as of the last date of application. The upper age limit is 25 years for General candidates, 28 years for OBC, and 30 years for SC/ST candidates.
Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per government rules under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- For trades such as Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Machinist, Chemical Plant Operator, etc., the stipend is ₹10,560 per month.
- For trades like COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant), the stipend is ₹9,600 per month.

How to Apply
Candidates must apply online only through the NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
After registration, applicants must search by Establishment Name: “Nuclear Fuel Complex – E11153600013” and choose the desired trade to apply for.
All required documents such as SSC marksheet, ITI certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar card, and recent photos must be uploaded on the portal. Applications sent by post or any other mode will not be accepted.

Selection Process
The selection process will be purely based on merit.
- For most trades, candidates will be selected according to the percentage of marks in their qualifying ITI examination.
- In case of equal marks, the 10th (SSC) marks will be used as a tiebreaker.
- For the Electrician trade, selection will be based on a personal interview.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection and training schedule through email only.
