Hello, young job seekers of West Bengal! If you are tired of sitting at home and waiting for a job opportunity, there is some very important news for you. The government has published a brand new list of candidates who may get help under the Yuvasree Prakalpa. This is called the 18th Waiting List, and it has the names of more than 30,000 young people from across the state!
If you have registered yourself in the Employment Bank as a job seeker, your name might be on this list. Letâs break down all the information in simple steps so you can understand what this means, how to check your name, and what you need to do next.
What is Yuvasree Prakalpa?
First, a quick reminder. Yuvasree Prakalpa is a special scheme by the West Bengal government to help unemployed youth. If you have passed at least Class 8 and are between 18 to 45 years old, you can get help. The scheme gives you three main things:
- Cash Help:Â You can get âš1500 per month as unemployment allowance.
- Job Help:Â The government helps you find a job through the Employment Bank.
- Training:Â You can join training programs to learn new skills (like computer basics or communication skills) so you can get a better job.
But to get all this, you first need to be selected. And thatâs what this new waiting list is all about!
The Big News: 18th Waiting List is Out!
The government has prepared a fresh waiting list. This is called the “New Waiting List of Yuvasree.” It is like a shortlist. If your name is on this list, it means you have been provisionally identified. This is your chance to get the benefits of the scheme.
Here are the key details you need to know:
- Who is on the list? Over 30,000 job seekers from West Bengal.
- Where to find it? On the official Employment Bank website: employmentbankwb.gov.in
- How to find it? Look on the home page of the website. You will see a menu option called “VIEW YUVASREE WAITING LIST” . Click on it to see the list.
What Should You Do If Your Name is in the List?
If you find your name on the list, congratulations! But this is not the final step. You have to complete some very important paperwork within a specific deadline. If you miss these dates, you will lose your chance.
Here is a simple, step-by-step guide on what to do next. Think of it as a two-part process: first, work to do Online, and then work to do Offline (in person).
Step 1: The Online Task (Submit Annexure-I)
You need to fill out a form called Annexure-I online.
- Where:Â On the Employment Bank portal itself.
- How: Look for the ‘Submit Annexure-I link’ on the website. Log in using your details and fill in the form carefully.
- Deadline: You must do this between 15th February 2026 and 5th March 2026. Do not wait until the last day!
Step 2: The Offline Task (Visit the Employment Exchange Office)
After submitting the form online, you have to print it and take it to your local Employment Exchange office along with some other documents.
When to go: From 9th March 2026 to 13th March 2026.
What to take with you:
- The print-out of the online Annexure-I you just submitted.
- A filled-in Annexure-II form. (You can download this from the Employment Bank website under the ‘Yuvasree’ menu).
- Important documents for verification: Your Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, and Ration Card. (You should also carry your educational certificates and passport-size photos, just in case).
The officials at the office will check all your documents. This process is called “validation.” Only after this verification is successful, you will be officially eligible for the scheme.
