Under this latest notification, IRCTC invites Hotel Management and Hospitality professionals for the post of Hospitality Monitors on a fixed-term contract basis. Educational Qualification
Applicants must have a Full-Time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a recognized institute affiliated with NCHMCT/UGC/AICTE/Government of India.
Candidates with BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes or MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management from a Government-recognized university can also apply.
In addition, a minimum of 2 years experience in the hospitality field is required. Only candidates meeting this experience condition will be eligible to participate in the interview.

Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 28 years for General (UR) candidates as of 1 January 2025. However, age relaxation is available for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to the extent of service rendered in defence plus 3 years
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a monthly CTC of ₹30000, including statutory deductions and allowances.
In addition to the salary:
- Daily Allowance: ₹350 per day (depending on duty hours)
- Lodging Charges: ₹240 per night for outstation stays
- National Holiday Allowance: ₹384 per national holiday worked
- Medical Insurance: ₹1400/month (below 35 yrs) and ₹2000/month (36–50 yrs)

Application Process
Candidates have to attend the Walk-In Interview directly. Applicants must fill the application form (attached with the official notification) and carry it to the interview venue. The form must be submitted along with:
- Original documents
- One set of self-attested photocopies
- Two recent passport-size photographs
The interview panel will verify all documents. Selection will be purely based on performance in the personal interview and verification of credentials.
