Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed a full-time Graduation (Degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university. Only candidates who reside in Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Howrah, or Hooghly are eligible to apply.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 18 and 24 years of age as on 31st October 2025.

The date of birth should be between 31.10.2001 and 31.10.2007.
Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules – 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and up to 10 years for PwBD candidates (15 years for SC/ST PwBD and 13 years for OBC PwBD).

Monthly Stipend

Selected Graduate Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.9000 during the 12-month training period, as per the latest Government of India apprenticeship guidelines. No additional allowances or benefits will be provided.

How to Apply

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must apply online only through the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) portal at nats.education.gov.in.

No other mode of application will be accepted.
Candidates should register on the NATS portal, complete their profile, and apply for the SAIL CMO Graduate Apprentice post.
Selected applicants will be informed via their registered email ID and must attend document verification with original certificates related to age, qualification, caste, and disability (if applicable).

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on merit, prepared from marks obtained in the qualifying degree examination. In case of a tie, the candidate with a higher age will be given preference.
No written test or interview will be conducted. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
