Eligibility Criteria for RRB NTPC 2025
To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board as of 27 November 2025. Those awaiting final results are not eligible to apply. Candidates must also meet the prescribed medical fitness standards as per Indian Railway Medical Manual guidelines. The Commercial cum Ticket Clerk position falls under Pay Level 3 with an initial pay of ₹21700, while other clerk-level posts such as Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, and Trains Clerk fall under Pay Level 2, offering an initial pay of ₹19900. How to Apply for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2025
The entire application process will be conducted online only through the official RRB websites. Candidates need to first create an account on the RRB application portal and then fill in all required details carefully. Once the account is created, no changes can be made to the RRB selection or personal details.
Application Fee
As per the official notice, candidates from the General and OBC categories must pay an application fee of ₹500, out of which ₹400 will be refunded after appearing in the first stage CBT. Candidates from SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minority, and Economically Backward Classes need to pay ₹250, which will also be refunded after appearing in the CBT.
