DSSSB 06/2025 Notification Released

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university or institute. They must also have a B.Ed. or an integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.

Additionally, all candidates must have qualified the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) conducted by CBSE.

For the Drawing Teacher post, a 5-year Diploma or Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts/Drawing is required. For the Special Education Teacher post, candidates must have B.Ed. (Special Education) or a Diploma in Special Education approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for all posts is 30 years. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is available for reserved categories as per government rules.

Government servants are eligible for up to 5 years of relaxation, and contractual employees of the same department can get an additional relaxation for their service period, up to a maximum of 5 years.

Salary Structure

All selected candidates will be placed under Pay Level-7 (₹44900 – 142400/-) as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. The posts are categorized under Group ‘B’ (General Central Service, Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted), offering stable pay and additional government allowances as per Delhi Government norms.

Application Process

Eligible candidates must apply online only through the official DSSSB portal: dsssbonline.nic.in. No applications will be accepted by mail, in person, or via email.

Before applying, candidates must register on the DSSSB website (a one-time process). After registration, they can log in using their user ID and password to fill out the application form, upload documents, and make fee payments.

Application Fees

The application fee is ₹100 (One Hundred Only). However, Women candidates, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee. The fee should be paid online only through SBI e-pay, and it is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Selection Process

The selection will be made through a One-Tier Computer-Based Test (CBT).
The exam will include 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 200 marks in total, with a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.

The paper will have:

Section A (100 Marks): General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Hindi & English Comprehension
Section B (100 Marks): Subject-specific questions and teaching methodology
