Qualification for West Bengal Police Recruitment
The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

Physical Test West Bengal Police Recruitment
i) For Warder:- Long Distance Run – 1600 mtrs. (Qualifying time is 06 minutes 30 seconds).
ii) For Female Warder:- Long Distance Run – 400 mtrs. (Qualifying time is 1 minute 50 seconds).

1. Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas/Garhwalis/Rajbanshis and ST) – 167 cm.
2. Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshis and ST – 160 cm.
Height For Warder (Female): 1. Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas/Garhwalis/Rajbanshis and ST) – 160 cm.

Chest For Warder (Male): 1. Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas/Garhwalis/Rajbanshis and ST) : 78 cms. With expansion of 5cms. (78 cms – 83 cms)
2. Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshis and ST : 76 cms. With expansion of 5cms. (76 cms. – 81 cms.)
For the vacancies reserved under Sports Quota, only meritorious sports persons from the following discipline may apply:-
