Qualification for South East Central Railway Recruitment
(a) Must have passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
(b) Must have passed ITI course in relevant trade from a Recognized Institution.
Age Limit for South East Central Railway Recruitment
The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should NOT have completed 24 years of age as on 01.07.2023. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for Ex-Servicemen and PWBD.
The period of Apprentice training & Stipend:
Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices and they will undergo apprenticeship training for a period 1 Year for each trade. They will be paid stipend during their training as per the rules of Railway Board. Their training will be terminated after the complection of their apprenticeship.
Criteria for preparing merit list in the selection:
The following criteria are prescribed for preparation of merit in the selection:- Taking the average of the % age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation and ITI examination giving equal weight age to both (Railway Establishment Rule 201/ 2017).
Medical Examination for South East Central Railway Recruitment
Selection candidates may be adviced to bring medical cerificate at the time of document verification in the prescribed Performa as per Apprenticeship act 1961 and Para 4 of the apprenticeship Rule 1992. The Medical cerificate should be singed by Government authorized Doctor. Not below the rank Asstt. Surgeon of Central/State Hospital.
