Educational Qualification for Indian Air Force Recruitment
1. Science Subjects:-
Candidates should have passed the Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from an Education The board is listed as a COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed 3 years of Diploma Courses in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in a diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
OR
Passed 2 years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Maths from State Education Boards/Councils which are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational courses (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).
2. Other Than Science Subjects:-
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any subject approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed two years of vocational courses from Education Boards listed as COBSE members with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in a vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course.
Age Limit for Indian Air Force Recruitment
Candidate born between 27 June 2003 and 27 December 2006 are eligible to apply.
Pay Scale for Indian Air Force Recruitment
i) 1st Year – Rs. 30,000/-
ii) 2st Year – Rs. 33,000/-
iii) 3st Year – Rs. 36,500/-
iv) 4st Year – Rs. 40,000/-
Physical Standards for Indian Air Force Recruitment
(a) Height:
(i) Male Candidates: height is 152.5 cms
(ii) Female Candidates: 152 cms
(b) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(c) Chest: The chest will Should well proportioned with minimum range of expansion also should be at least 05 cms.
(d) Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 06 meters by each ear separately.
(e) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
