♦ Educational Qualification: Minimum HSLC Passed or it’s equivalent from any recognized Board or Council.
Eligibility Criteria for both Assistant Inspector of Excise & Excise Constable:
Age Limit: 18 to 38 years as on 1st January of 2020 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and on or after 01.01.1982).
Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), and ST(H).
(ii) 3 years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
Excise Police Salary: Rs.14,000 to 49,000/- (Pay Band-II), [Assistant Inspector of Excise – Grade pay of Rs.6,200/-, and Excise Constable – Grade pay of Rs.5,000/-].
