DRDO CFEES Apprentice Qualification 2025
To apply for the apprenticeship, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
• The candidate must have passed ITI from an institute recognised by NCVT.
• The ITI qualification must be of at least 2 years in duration (except COPA).
• Only those who passed ITI in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible.
• Candidates with a Diploma or a Graduation are not allowed to apply.
• Candidates who have already completed or are undergoing apprenticeship training cannot apply.
• Candidates with more than one year of work experience are also not eligible.
• NCVT MIS portal registration is compulsory, and the registration number must be provided in the online form.
Age Relaxation Details
The minimum age to apply is 18 years. The upper age limit is different for each category. For the unreserved category, the maximum age allowed is 27 years. For OBC candidates, the age limit is extended to 30 years. SC and ST category candidates can apply up to 32 years. Persons with Disabilities (PWD) get a higher relaxation and can apply up to 37 years of age.
DRDO CFEES Apprentice Salary Details 2025
The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the Government of India rules for ITI apprentices. The current stipend for ITI apprentice trainees is ₹9,600 per month. No additional allowances like hostel, TA/DA or special pay will be provided during the training period.
