How to Change APL to BPL Ration Card in West Bengal
- To convert your card, first, visit the official website of the West Bengal Government’s Food and Supplies Department: https://food.wb.gov.in/.
- Once on the website, scroll down.
- Find the “Ration Card” option on the homepage and click on it.
- Then, click on “Apply for Change of Ration Category”.
- On the new page that opens, you must enter your “Valid Registered Mobile Number”.
- After entering the number, an OTP will be sent to it.
- Enter the OTP in the designated space and click the “Proceed” option.
- On the next page, click the “Apply Now” option at the bottom.
- Answer every question on the newly opened page accurately.
- Then, click the “Next” option.
- Now, select the names of the family members whose ration card category you wish to change.
- Upload all required information or documents.
- To proceed with the conversion, click the “Terms and Conditions” option and then click “Proceed”.
- Next, click the “Send OTP” option located at the bottom of the page.
- The final step is to enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number correctly and click the “Submit OTP” button. This will submit the form.
