Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years ITI Certificate in relevant trade.
Age Limit for Border Security Force Recruitment
(a) UR Candidates: Not below 18 years or over 25 years
(b) OBC Candidates: Not below 18 years or over 28 years
(c) SC/ST Candidates: Not below 18 years or over 30 years
Pay Scale for Border Security Force Recruitment

b) Long Jump-11 Feet in three chances
c) High Jump-3 1/2 Feet in three chance

a) 800 Mtrs race in 4 minutes.

Detailed Medical Examination for Border Security Force Recruitment
All the Male/Female candidates, qualified in the Frist and Second Phase will be allowed to appear in Detailed Medical Examination. The validity of medical examination willbe for One year. Medical Examination shall be carried out by a duly constituted BSF Medical Board of Officers.
