Banaras Locomotive Works – BLW Varanasi

Educational Qualification:
1. For Non-ITI: The Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification.

2. For ITI: The Candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, from the recognized Board and also must pass ITI in relevant trades. Candidate should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification.

Age Limit:
1. For Non-ITI: Non-ITI candidate has completed 15 years of age and is not more than 22 years old.

2. For ITI: ITI passed in the relevant has completed (Excluding welder and carpenter trade) 15 years of age, and not more than 24 years.

Age limit for welder, and carpenter candidates – from 15 years to 22 years only.

Age Relaxation:
OBC Candidates: 3 Years
SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
Physical Handicap Candidates: 10 Years
Other Candidates as per rules.
