Educational Qualification:
1. Project Engineer-I: B.E./ B. Tech/ B.Sc Engineering degree in relevant discipline from reputed University / Institution / College with First Class for General/OBC/EWS candidates & pass Class for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.

2. Project Engineer-I (Optics): M.Sc (Electrooptics/Photonics) from reputed University / Institution/ College with First Class for General/OBC/EWS candidates & pass Class for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.

3. Trainee Engineer-I: B.E./ B. Tech / B.Sc Engineering degree in relevant discipline from reputed University / Institution/ College with First Class for General/OBC/EWS candidates & pass Class for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.

Upper Age limit as on 01.01.2021:
a. Project Engineers-I: The age should not be more than 28 years for General & EWS candidates. The upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC candidates by 03 years and SC, ST candidates by 05 years. For candidates belonging to PWD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.

b. Trainee Engineer-I: The age should not be more than 25 years for General & EWS candidates. The upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC candidates by 03 years and SC, ST Candidates by 05 years. For Candidates belonging to PWD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.
