Eligibility Criteria for Kolkata Science City Recruitment 2021 – Kolkata Science City Jobs
Essential Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics and combination of any two subjects viz. Chemistry, Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Science, Astrology, Geology and Statistics from a recognized institute with good communication skill in Bengali, English and Hindi.
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry and combination any two subjects viz. Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Environment Science, Bio-Technology and Molecular Biology from a recognized institute with good communication skill in Bengali, English and Hindi.
The candidates who have recently acquired the Bachelor’s Degree in Science (not earlier than 2019) as above should only apply. Post Graduates/Engineering Graduates or those who have completed traineeship in any unit of NCSM are not eligible for the same.
Duration of Traineeship: One year (which may be extended for one more year based on the satisfactory performance at the discretion of the Competent Authority).
Stipend: Rs.14,000/- per month
Date of Aptitude Test: 30/09/2021 at 8:30 am
Selection Process: Aptitude Test, Communication Skill Test, and Written Test.
How to Apply for Kolkata Science City Jobs: Interested candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications may appear in the Walk-in Aptitude test and Communication Skill test at Science City, Kolkata on 30/09/2021 at 8:30 AM along with the filled up application (Blank format is available on the Science City, Kolkata official website www.sciencecitykolkata.org.in) along with all supporting original documents / testimonials of Educational Qualification, proof of date of birth, ID proof, caste certificate, disability certificate, etc. Candidates should also bring a set of self attested photocopies of all such documents.
Exam Process & Other Details:
The Written Test will be held after due verification of all the testimonials of all the candidates. Those who will obtain minimum cut-off marks in the Written Test shall only be allowed to appear in the Communication Skill Test. The Communication Skill Test will be of qualifying nature and candidates will be selected based on the merit of marks obtained in the Written Test.
Candidates reaching after 9:00 am at the above address will not be allowed to appear in the Test. Candidates who do not fulfill the above criteria and/or not bring the filled up application form, original and self attested documents, ID proof, etc., as detailed above, will not be allowed to appear in the Written Test. Decision of the Science City authority in this regard will be final.
