Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2022
Educational Qualification:
Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33%-40%) in individual subjects or grade with 33% in individual subjects and overall aggregate of C2 grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
Age Limit:
17½ – 23 years.
The upper age limit has been relaxed from 21 years to 23 years as a onetime measure for the Recruiting Year 2022-23.
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Height-162 cms.
Weight- proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical standards
Chest Expansion- The candidate should capable of chest expansion of 05 cms.
Salary:
(a) Agniveer Package.
(i) The pay & emoluments of Agniveers will be as given below:-
(aa) Year 1 – Customised Package – Rs 30,000/- (Plus applicable allowances).
(ab) Year 2 – Customised Package – Rs 33,000/- (Plus applicable allowances).
(ac) Year 3 – Customised Package – Rs 36,500/-(Plus applicable allowances).
(ad) Year 4 – Customised Package – Rs 40,000/-(Plus applicable allowances).
Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Site):
1.6 KM Run.
(aa) Up to 7 Min 30 Secs – Group – I.
(ab) Up to 8 Min – Group – II.
(ii) Long Jump 10 feet – Candidates need to qualify.
(iii) High Jump 3 feet – Candidates need to qualify.

Written Test Through Common Entrance Examination (CEE):
(a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. Date and time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards.
(b) Admit Card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site itself. Admit Card for the CEE for the review Fit cases will be issued at AROs after they are declared medically fit by concerned specialist/ specialists at Military Hospitals/Base Hospitals/Command Hospitals.
(c) Negative marking will be applicable in CEE.
(d) Date of CEE for selected candidates will be intimated later
Sports Certificate:
(i) Sportsmen who have represented India at international level and State at National level within the last two years (for list of sports under which relaxationin physical standards is admissible, attention is invited towww.ioinindianarmy.nic.in website).
(ii) Sportsmen who have represented District at State level and University team at Inter University Championship within last two years (Sports Certificate should be with registration number and from government recognized sport institutes / bodies).
(iii) List of Sports. List of Sports for enrolment is attached as Appendix C.
Indian Army Career
NCC Certificate:
NCC A/B/C Certificate should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A/B/C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders. No bonus marks are to be allotted unless the certificate (Relationship/Sports/NCC) have been verified. An undertaking to the effect will be obtain from the candidate. Provisional certificates are accepted only during the notified rally duration neither, earlier nor later.
Important Instructions:
Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.ioinindianarmy.nic.in, Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over to Civil Police.
• Result of written examination will be declared on the official websitejoinindianarmy.nic.in. No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is responsibility of candidate to check his result and report to ARO for documentation.
