Educational Qualification:
Research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of Speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical superspecialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Educational Qualifications for non-medical candidates (as applicable):-
• M.Sc. (Medical Anatomy) with PhD Medical Anatomy.
• M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry) with PhD Medical Biochemistry.
• M.Sc. (Medical Physiology) with PhD Medical Physiology.
• M.Sc. (Medical Pharmacology) with PhD Medical Pharmacology.

Age Limit:
1. Professor/Additional Professor: – Not exceeding 58 (Fifty-Eight) years as on cut-off date.
2. Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor: – Not exceeding 50 (Fifty) years as on cut-off date.
3. No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
Age relaxation permissible to various categories is as under:-
i) SC/ST – 05 Years
ii) OBC – 03 Years
iii) PwBD – 10 Years
iv) Government Servant (As per DoPT instruction) – 05 Years
Pay Scale:
a) Professor –
Minimum Pay of Rs.1,68,900/-. (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only).
b) Additional Professor –
Minimum Pay of Rs.1,48,200/-(Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only)
c) Associate Professor –
Minimum Pay of Rs.1,38,300/-(Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only)
d) Assistant Professor –
Minimum Pay of Rs.1,01,500/- (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only).
